Yet grace [God’s undeserved favor] was given to each one of us [not indiscriminately, but in different ways] in proportion to the measure of Christ’s [rich and abundant] gift.

Pray for the activation of the gifts of the Spirit
As we study the acts of grace, we must understand not only how the Lord shows grace, but also the purpose of His grace. Grace is not cheap, and it shouldn’t be wasted. When God fed the 5000, he made sure nothing was wasted. There were leftovers, and Jesus instructed the apostles to gather what was left.
God is unlimited, but he doesn’t waste a thing. If you approach Him and expect that He will turn you into a Cinderella overnight, you are utterly mistaken. God is not a magician. He holds fast to His word, and so should you. God’s word causes transformation according to His word, not your expectation.
The man oppressed by an unclean spirit in Mark 5 came to Jesus bowing down. With all his power, his place of authority, his darkness, his demons, and all his baggage felt down at the feet of Jesus. The chapter describes the unusual strength and the uncleanliness that he was surrounded by; and at the site of Jesus, he immediately felt down. This is the power that lives in us.
Daily Confession: He who is me is far greater than he who is in the world.
Thank you, Holy Spirit.
