The tongue also is a fire, a world of evil among the parts of the body. It corrupts the whole body, sets the whole course of one’s life on fire, and is itself set on fire by hell.
– James 3:6
When we refer to the witchcraft kingdom, we consider it as being in a different place. We do not acknowledge the witchcraft inside the body of Christ. I met only a few pastors who openly condemn witchcraft.
There is a reason for it. I believe the Holy Spirit works this within ourself before exposing us to the witchcraft strategies. As I reflect on the issue, I realize the goal has always been to bring the word of God closer, and allow its freecourse in my life. After I was born again, I was fed with the word of God constantly. I encountered mighty pastors, who worked Jesus in my life. I wasn’t condemned, I was fed until I started reading the Bible by myself.
I grew up in a country where the religious community was a taboo. There was a solid religious wall that couldn’t be crossed. The Bible in my native language is full of religious jargon, making it impossible to understand. I read it in English and began to understand. I found myself in a neutral position, outside the realm of religion. Based on my personal experience, I must declare religion and religious language a type of witchcraft when used as a dividing wall.
With that being said, I acknowledge that there are specific words, such as blessings, baptism, etc. These words can not be used in the normal language because they come from a completely different belief system. Yet, this doesn’t necessarily imply that a biblical language should cause separation. Instead, it should bring everyone to the goodness of God. One day I translated a verse or two in my native language. The Lord translated ‘baptism’ as ‘change’. In other words, every time I read baptism, I understand that a type of change is taking place. Simple. Now consider the word ‘faith’ instead of the word of God. Do you notice any change?
Prayer: The word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing to the division of soul and of spirit, of joints and of marrow, and discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart. (Hebrews 4:12)
