he reveals deep and hidden things; he knows what is in the darkness, and the light dwells with him.
– Daniel 2:22
When it’s time to move a mountain, it’s time to move a mountain.
The kingdom of God is full of mysteries, and it’s up to His children to seek His will; and to ask, and to knock. There is a mystery surrounding the wise men and with the help of the Holy Spirit, we’ll unwrap it.
Who are the wisemen and what is their function? We find them in the courts of kings. It’s pretty evident that they carry a type of wisdom, otherwise they wouldn’t be called wise. What type of wisdom do they possess, and why do we need to know about them?
It’s fair to say that they are in direct contact with altars. We see them giving gifts to Joseph and Mary, at the time of Jesus’ birth. We also know that they are skilled in reading the signs in the stars, because that is how they knew the place of birth of Jesus. They seem to be well aware of the star maps, since they could figure out locations with such precision.
As we begin to unravel these mysteries, we are going to ask the Holy Ghost for divine protection because we are getting ready to unleash the wisdom of God, as we bring Jesus to these wisemen.
Prayer: Father, we come for more of your wisdom, as we begin this journey towards the deep things, things we don’t understand, things we know nothing about. Let your light shine before us, let your word be the lamp for my feet, and a light to my path, as I journey towards the deep and try to reach the souls of wisemen. Guide my brothers and sisters in Christ in the direction you have for us; open the right doors, and equip us to become witnesses for Christ in these dark places. And let all glory goes to God. Amen and amen.
