The life of a body is in the blood. There are numerous occasions in the Bible, where God expressively forbids eating an animal with the blood in it. The word of God does not specify the reasons, but there could be all kinds of health-related side effects, in addition to the cruelty that goes with it. If you dig deeper into the deliverance ministry and the witchcraft practices around the world, you’ll discover that many rituals are related to drinking blood, including human blood.

There is a mystery around the blood of Jesus that we don’t understand and we won’t fully understand until we meet God face to face in heaven; however the Bible speak about the living God, or the Holy Spirit. We know that the word of God is living and active. Our conscience is part of it, and if we are to sustain ourselves, our spirit needs spiritual food.

Our battle with witchcraft continues in our consciousness. Our minds must be delivered from dead consciousness, or dead works, and to do so we need to learn how to control our thoughts and how to renew our mind. The thoughts and ideas of yesterday are considered dead today. Our mind feeds on the word of God daily, and it renews itself. It’s all done with the help of the Holy Spirit. A man with dead consciousness will end up with dead works.

Prayer: Let my meditation on word of God be constant. In Jesus Christ’s name, amen.
