But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.
– Revelation 21:8
As we take a closer look at Hell, we find the Lake of Fire in Revelation 21:8. We see that there are people, or souls, who are assigned to Hell, and sentenced for destruction. This verse doesn’t mention who are those people, but we can see a description of their characters. This verse makes it clear that hell exists, and the notion that we are all going to be saved does not fit in a sound doctrine, but is a form of deception designed to keep people from the truth.
We can see that they are faithless and full of fear. This is because faith fights fear. If you are not full of faith, then most likely you give place to fear. Fear is a spirit, as well as an emotion. There are people who are trapped by the spirit of fear. And there are those who enforce fear through oppression, torment, violence, threats, etc. Fear can also come as a result of trauma.
Human history is full of examples of persecution for believers and nonbelievers alike. Bloodshed comes in all shapes and forms – domestic violence, gang activities, robbery, thefts, wars, religious extremism, the list goes on. The curse too can cause people to become destructive.
Those who work for Satan, learn to operate with fear and use fear as a spiritual weapon. Woe! There are ritualistic practices that evolve children, trapping them in a fearful state and then causing them to be bound by fear. The carnal mind is not able to understand the ways of grace, and unless renewed, it leads to death. Hell is the eternal separation from the presence of God, and the fearful are full of fear. There is no faith in them, and they are destined to be destroyed.
Prayer: Father, by the power and the blood of Jesus, I sever every evil soul tie that has attached or is trying to attach itself to me, and I decree that the blood of Jesus cleanses me from sin and from all unrighteousness. Thank you, Father.
Salvation Prayer: Dear Lord Jesus, I know that I am a sinner, and I ask for your forgiveness. I believe You died for my sins and rose from the dead. I turn from my sins and invite You to come into my heart and life. I want to trust and follow You as my Lord and Savior. Amen.
