And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman, and every free man, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains;
–Revelation 6:15
We continue with the Fearful, and all his glory. As we can see, Hell is the resting place for men from every part of the society. Every witch and wizard, no matter how crafty, ends up in Hell. In the book of Revelation, we meet them hiding in dens and rocks. They all belong to the Fearful, regardless of their earthly status. As a matter of fact, we meet some mighty men here. Their might is confirmed by Revelation 6:15. This is not a might by earthly standards, but by the word of God.
Nimrod was a mighty man of war. The Bible tells us so. He was building a tower that got the attention of God. He was an experienced warrior and a builder. But his skills, thou similar to Noah, were used for the wrong purpose, and led to nothing. Those who use their might for their own glory, have their place. And yes, they too have their own Bible verse. God honors courage.

What God doesn’t like is a lying tongue. The first thing that God did with Nimrod and his builders was to confuse their language. We already know that God is not the author of confusion. I will condemn you with your own words, you wicked servant (Luke 19:23). When we make plans based on lies, there is only confusion. It is not possible to build a tower that reaches heaven. Jesus is the only way. A lie, no matter how small or how great, can only exist until faced with the truth. It doesn’t matter how many lies are generated. It doesn’t matter how crafty they appear. It doesn’t matter how glorious the liar looks. It doesn’t matter how far we can see, how high we can climb, or how fast we can run. When the truth comes, every lie gets exposed and destroyed, because truth and lies can not coexist. The truth can dominate only. I’m the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. (John 14:6)
Every kingdom built on lies will be destroyed when faced with the truth. Every form of greatness built on lies will be destroyed when faced with the truth. Every form of wealth built on lies will be destroyed when faced with the truth. Every form of leadership built on lies will be destroyed when faced with the truth. Every form of might built on lies will be destroyed when faced with the truth. This is why Satan’s kingdom can not stand before the Kingdom of God. When he lies, he speaks his native language, for he is a liar and the father of lies. (John 8:44)
