Good news is our daily bread. We are children of the God who is always good. He is a constant force of goodness. There is no evil in Him, only good. If we continue to think that bad is our portion, then we are not abiding in His presence. We must step away from where we are and return to Him who is above all and all.

When Adam and Eve chose to eat from the fruit of the knowledge of good and evil, they died spiritually and eventually physically. But we, who choose Jesus, have life and have it more abundantly. We are no longer slaves to sin and death, but have eternal life. We might be surrounded by evil people, who produce sin and walk in unrighteousness, but that’s not who we are, because although we walk in this world, are not of it, and we are not meant to be here forever. We are only passing by and as we do, we overcome evil with good. We shouldn’t be confused by seeing ourselves in the children who belong to this world. We are not like them and we are never going to be like them, because we are made of different substance and have a different spirit living on the inside of us. It’s the Spirit of God, and there is no evil in Him, only good.

Prayer: Father, I thank you for my daily bread. It is good news and I choose to stand in agreement that when it comes to me and my household, we shall serve the Lord and as we do, all things work together for our good. Glory be to God! Amen and amen. Thank you, Holy Spirit.
