How powerful is the hope found in God’s word! His steadfast love never ceases – it’s an ongoing force, process, power. There is no amount of hate that can compare to his never-ending love. No matter how much hurt or evil is in the depths of our hearts, his love is bigger, stronger, and overpowering. As soon as we open our hearts, God’s love conquers.

His mercies never come to an end. It’s the power of compassion that sets us free and saves us from the pit of the past. It too is an ongoing force that changes us from within. We may find it difficult to forgive those who have hurt us, but as the power of mercy begins to flow in our heart, we are able to release forgiveness towards others, and the empty places of our hearts are filled with His goodness.

His mercies are new every morning. Every day is a new beginning. It’s the little things that matter – the little changes that soon add up and lead to a powerful transformation. For those who have the eyes to see, the little things matter the most. Like a tiny flower that opens up and then disappear. Its beauty may have never been seen by the human eye. These are the moments that stay in our hearts – like the last conversation with a loved one before they passed, or the first look at a child, or an aha moment… These moments may seem insignificant but their impact could be eternal. Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin: and yet I say unto you, That even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. (Matthew 6:28-29)
