One of the greatest privileges of being a Christian is the grace to turn trials into joy. It’s the proof of His power on display for others to see. It’s how we witness to the lost – we stand firm in our faith and go through trials, turning them into a joyful testimony of who God is and who God made us to be.

A clear signs that Christ lives in us manifests when we face adversity. It’s not that we ask for it but when it comes, we stand firm, knowing that the greatest act of love is to put our lives down for others. There must be a clear distinction between our sacrificial nature and those who are not in Christ. How to live and die for Christ is not for us to decide. We are called to witness, and when we do, we don’t know when, why, and how – we simply put our trust in the works of the Holy Spirit.

Prayer: Father, we trust your plans and purposes for our lives, and even our deaths. Holy Spirit, help us to hold tight to your guidance as we mature in your presence. In Jesus Christ’s name, amen. Thank you Holy Spirit.
