Love is patient – 1 Corinthians 13:4

Love is part of the fruit of the spirit. It is not a soulish type of an emotional attachment. It’s part of the spirit. And it begins with patience. Love is patient.

In the days, months, and years to come, we’ll learn to walk in love (Eph. 5:1), not by sight (2 Cor. 5:7), and rejoicing always (1 Thess. 5:16-17). These three simple keys are sufficient to obtain and maintain victory in every area of our lives. The Holy Spirit is our teacher, helper, comforter, and guide. We can trust him. He is not far from us, actually he lives in us.
