Love is kind – 1 Corinthians 13:4

As we leave the soul realm and enter the spirit, where the love of God dwells, we can begin the eternal process of producing the fruit of the spirit. If you dwell in me and my word dwell in you – God has given us the right to dwell in His presence, and produce His fruit of righteousness, holiness, and good works. The love that comes from God is holy. It is not related to the love that this world portraits – romantic, selfish, self-centered, needy type of soul attachments. We sever every soul tie and begin to live a life that is pleasing to God. This is not possible if the person has not received the Lord Jesus Christ as a personal savior.

The love that comes from God is kind. It looks for opportunities to give and to comfort and to seek the good for and in others. It witness for Jesus. Greater love has no one than this, than to lay down one’s life for his friends. (John 15:13) As we practice God”s kind of love, and walk in it and produce fruit for the kingdom of God, we become more like Him.
