If we are being called to account today for an act of kindness shown to a man who was lame and are being asked how he was healed – Acts 4:9

In order to show kindness, we must first learn to recognize and apreciate acts of kindness. What are some ways to learn kindness – we can study the Bible and ask the Holy Spirit to reveal to us how kindness works. We can study the works of Jesus, the apostles, the Holy Spirit and the Father. Then we should consider how other people show kindness to us. How did we feel?

The deeper we go, the more revelation we would receive. We could challenge ourselves by practicing what we’ve learned, and finally we can teach others how to practice kindness. Kindness can be thought in sermons, by example, and through books. We may face strongholds and high things. People could respond with contempt, annoyance, even hate, but we must remain steadfast and consistent.

Father, give us the right seeds to plant in the lives of others. In Jesus Christ’s name, amen. Thank you, Holy Spirit.
