Have Peace: The Gospel

For shoes, put on the peace that comes from the Good News so that you will be fully prepared. – Ephesians 6:15

The Gospel of Peace is called “peace” for a reason. Peace allows us to prepare. When we are under pressure, we can not perform in our God-given capacity. Peace is an enemy to fear, anxiety, and depression. When we suffer from nervous breakdowns, panic, and other fear-related issues, we would not be able to share the good news about Jesus.

We need peace when we prepare for our God-given assignments, we need peace when we try to hear from God, and we need peace when we share the gospel with others. People should see that we are different. We can face every storm with the peace of God. Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace. And be thankful. – Colossians 3:15

Father, let your peace rule in my heart – amen. Thank you, Holy Spirit.
