Seek peace and pursue it – Psalm 34:14

War is a constant force around the world – there are wars for territory, economic wars, business wars, trade wars, political wars, etc. The list goes on. In most cases people fight over territory but the most fundamental battle is good vs evil.

Turn away from evil and do good, seek peace and pursue it (Psalm 34:14). There is always something we can do on individual level. War is not just a battle on a country/national level, it’s a very personal experience. When we begin to do good, our live surrenders to peace. Naturally we begin to seek peace. Good leads to peace – peace with oneself, peace with others, and most importantly – peace with God.

Father, in the name of Jesus, I will surrender to your peace, because your peace makes me whole. Amen.
