Have you tried to make a lemonade? It’s a three ingredient recipe including water. A child can do it. And yet, it works differently for different people – some like it sweeter than others, some prefer more lemon juice over water, sugar over honey, mint over other herbs… You can get really creative with lemonades!

The same applies to the works of the Spirit. God is not limited – when he begins to change our circumstances, he does it in a way that we can not even begin to comprehend. His ways are higher than our ways, his thoughts are not our thoughts. Our sour places are only opportunities for Him to turn them into a series of joyful experiences that make us glad! Give all your lemons to God and watch him work.
