whatsoever is right – Philippians 4:8

What type of thinking goes in your mind? Do you spend time thinking on what is wrong or on what is working? Either way you are right. Most people dwell on the issues of life, rather than taking the time to acknowledge the goodness around them. Be a difference-maker.

We all have the ability to choose. Free will is a fundamental right for every human being. Not to be confused with free speech. We make choices continuously and constantly. Many times our thought lives are used by others. And that is fine as long as you know the difference between your own thoughts and the thoughts of other people.

The good news is that we can choose good news. The are all kinds of news, but what we allow in our heads eventually will shape our outlook and our identity. If you focus on how little you have, it will soon be taken away and you’ll end up with less. If you think of how much you have, more will be added. Whoever has will be given more, and they will have an abundance. Whoever does not have, even what they have will be taken from them. (Matthew 13:12)

Learn to choose the good and good will be added.

Father, I thank you for all the good in my life. I want more. Amen.
