Grace and peace to you from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. – 2 Corinthians 1:2
Have you done any form of gardening recently? If you worked the soil without gloves, you probably saw your hands dirty and had no resentment or discuss towards the mud on your skin. This is what sin looks like in the New Testament. The word of God makes all things right. Jesus’ sacrifice is all-sufficient.
God sends us in the world to be his laborers. We enter remote areas, communities, and places where sin is dominant. But he arms us with grace and peace that protect and shield us from all harm. No matter how deep the sin might be, the hearts of people are still the soil for his seeds to grow and produce fruit. God’s loving care is there to nurture and protect.
Whenever God sends you with an assignment, follow his voice and fear not. There is no sin too great for the grace of God.
Father, I am ready for my next assignment. Send me! In Jesus Christ’s name, amen. Thank you, Holy Spirit.
