speaking of the things pertaining to the kingdom of God: – Acts:1-3

The Kingdom of God is a kingdom. Kindness belongs to His kingdom. We can tell others about His kingdom simply by speaking kindly to them.

The kingdom of God is meant to be shared. This to some extend goes against the kingdoms of this world. The kings and queens here are exclusive. They seem far away. They are protected by the walls of their castles, by solders and armies. But for those who receive Christ, they receive a kingdom from another world. This is what the gospel is all about. And the gospel must be shared. It’s what we are commanded to do.

When God sends us to unfamiliar territories, where people don’t know us, don’t recognize us for who we are, and often don’t understand us, kindness can become the language that communicates more than what words can express. When we are kind to others, they perceive the language of the Father, who loves and meets them where they are.

Father, in the name of Jesus, let others see you through me. In Jesus Christ’s name, amen. Thank you, Holy Spirit.
