The Lord God put the man in the Garden of Eden to take care of it and to look after it. – Genesis 2:15
The purpose of man since his creation was to steward what was created by God. It’s as if our creation comes with purpose or purpose defines the very essence of our existence. This applies to money as well as to any other resource provided to humanity by God.
Some consider money their god, but most people see money as part of their livelihood – important enough to survive, meet their needs, and leave a little extra for fun. How much money do we need? It depends on how much you want, but the bottom line is are you able to steward what is in your hand?

One of the trees gave life – the other gave the power to know the difference between right and wrong – Genesis 2:9
Some are born with a lot of money, more than what they asked for; others are born with no money at all. There are people who spend most of their lives thinking about money, and there are some who give no thought about money. There are industries that provide money services, and there is essentially no industry without money. Money is commodity and part of the very fabric of the society.
You can sell and buy money, you can earn money, you can hire for money, you can give away money, you can receive money gifts, you can steal money, burry money, save money in a bank, in a personal account, in a safe; you can invest money, buy almost anything with money, except love, yet some love money more than they love themselves. It’s easy to see why some consider money their god. It is a visible deity.
Money answers all things – Ecclesiastes 10:19

The Supernatural Side of Money
The supernatural side of money interests some – the ideas of generational curses, witchcraft money rituals, and so on. Are they real? Some say “yes” others say “no”. If you were born in a country where the governmental monetary reserves are quite limiting, there are limits as to how far you can go in earning money; but if you were born in places with excessive money reserves, than you probably have a wider vision of the amount of money you need and can earn in your lifetime. Money is a sought after topic by economists, business leaders, and many academic professionals and theory of money can explain the gaps.
Some fear money, others love money. Money opens doors, money closes doors. Money answers all things (Ecclesiastes 10:19). People can do all kinds of things to get money – risk their lives, hurt other people, leave a family behind, sell their bodies, their children, etc. For the love of money is the root of all evil (1 Timothy 6:10). Money can cause people to love you, to hate you, to envy you, be jealous of you, and even follow you.
How To Love Money
The Bible gives us the definition of love: Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. (1 Corinthians 13:4-7)
Managing money well requires patience and kindness towards people; being humble and forgiving when they show envy and lack of respect; using money to uplift others in a profitable way, not being greedy; invest in individuals and communities; improving lives, expecting that healthy communities will produce more, make smarter decisions, lower the crime rates and increase the consumer trust in the institutions, the government and the nation as a whole.

The one who fears is not made perfect in love. (1 John 4:18)
The Fear Of Money
How you see money shapes the reality of your money life. There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love. (1 John 4:18)
If you are afraid of investing money because someone might lie to you, steal from you, cheat you and hurt your feelings, you’d be limiting your opportunities. Fear comes from not having concept of money, which could be solved through spending time and learning about money from the right source. But if you truly love the source of money, and not money itself, then you will be equipped to steward money according to His will.
