The good news about our earthly dwelling is the fact that it is temporary. We are here today and gone tomorrow. But we are surrounded by a cloud of witnesses. And we are not referring to viewership – a number of people sitting in front of a TV or reading a newspaper clapping with their hands. We are talking about the throne room of God, who is the just judge of everything, including our hearts.

We may run but there is no way out. We are the creation, he is the Creator. He does whatever he wants because He is God. The commercial news in this world can not change the word of God. There is time for everything under the sun – a time to be born and a time to die. Anything and everything in between, including every word we speak, is observed by a cloud of witnesses. And the word of God can testify against our hearts once we appear before his presence.

Whatever comes to you today, be encouraged, God knows exactly where you are on your journey to heaven. If you admire someone, let this be Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith. Hallelujah!
