Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses. – 1 Timothy 6:12
There is a fight that needs to be fought. And it’s the fight of faith. We don’t fight with people, because people are not our enemy. Satan and his kingdom are. And yet, there is another type of victory that is won before the cloud of witnesses.
If there is a victory I want, it’s the victory in my own lane. I don’t want to be in the wrong fight/battle/team. There are doors that lead to the wrong battlefields. Doors of destruction, waste of time, and emptiness. Paul mentions endless discussions of genealogies that lead to nothing.
Patience is important for any training, especially the issues of life. Don’t miss your destiny simply by participating in the wrong field. Let the Holy Spirit guide you to the right doors, right people, and right battlefields.
Father, in the name of Jesus, lead me and guide me to the place of victory. Amen. Thank you, Holy Spirit.
