“Daughter, your faith has made you well. Go in peace, and be healed of your affliction.” – Mark 5:34

Healing is the fundamental need of every human being, regardless of age, skin color, nationality, political views, etc. Have you been to a hospital lately? There are no arguments, screams, gun shots, or gang assaults in hospital rooms. People are aware that stepping into a medical facility is a step on a common ground. Once you enter, you are a patient – period.

There is no diplomatic arena comparable a hospital. Embassies do not have the same appeal as the hospitals. Hospital buildings are not architecturally striking as churches, or governmental buildings, or opera houses. They can be found in remote areas, in metropolitan centers, in any inhabited area.

Once you enter a hospital, you can feel the peace that rules there. Sick people need peace and quietness. They can not be disturbed. People need time to reflect, to heal, and to come in terms with the circumstances.
