Love is patient. Joseph waited on Mary and by not knowing her, the Bible refers to not having any type of relationship with his wife until the birth of Jesus.

There are many broken homes. People who are called to ministry must be trained to patiently exercise love, because the people they meet and show love to are people with problems. And this is the love of Jesus. It is a love that sees no wrong where wrong is done. It protects and cares for those who are weak, overlooked, abandoned, hurt, abused, oppressed, and so on. There is a difference between social services and ministry. Ministry does not only sees the welfares of others but their eternal salvation.

The social justice system is important for people and every nation does well by providing for its citizens. Social justice matters to the individual, as well as to the nation. But the Bible instructs us to “pray” for those who are in seats of authority, for their soundness of mind, for wisdom, for understanding, and for every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God. Because God is concerned about the people in power as much as the people in need.
