In righteousness shalt thou be established; thou shalt be far from oppression, for thou shalt not fear; and from terror, for it shall not come near thee. – Isaiah 54:14
There is no fear in love but perfect love casts out fear. There are many promises for those who walk according to God’s commands. It’s the path to his blessing, the path to a blessed life, a life where satan can not find a foothold, a life where there is no fear, a life without the arrow of terror.
This type of life exists in the word of God. It was promised before the Messiah came. And the children of Israel understood that this was something that was provided by God and only if they could walk according to his ways, they could obtain the blessing.
But Jesus came to fulfill all righteousness. Not just the blessing but also the curse. Today as Christians, we are saved from the curse but we are to continue in Christ. We are established according to God’s word. We delight in God’s precepts, in God’s commands, in His will and everything else He has for us. And afterwards, we continue to heaven. God’s word is the standard for every Christian. And yet even in the post-Christ world, there is still a choice to be made – we can not eat from the table of demons and still partake from the table of the Lord. Jezebel’s table is not my portion, and not every believer who has Christ in his/her heart will not be approved by the Holy Spirit, who is the seal. All witches and Jezebels are rejected by default. The ideas of stealing someones destinies, revealing mysteries and all other old-testament mentality is irrelevant, because the Holy Spirit will not allow any form of theft. Our identity is in Christ, and an empty vessel and every soul tie is severed forever. The blessing is only in Christ and only for Christians. The Lord gives freely and we give freely, but let those who come to steal be accursed. In Jesus Christ’s name, amen.
Father, in the name of Jesus, I thank you for the blood that will always be the ultimate defeat for every enemy. Let them drink the blood of Jesus and eat his flesh, according to your word. Amen.
