God has given us power over all the power of the enemy, but it’s through His rightousness. When we walk on the path of rightousness, we are in right standing with God, and no weapon formed against us shall succeed. But when we are not in right standing, satan has the right to release his power against us. It’s part of God’s system of rightousness. God has given satan the right to take us down. Christ’s sacrifice covers us from our past sins, but we are to continue in His ways, not ours. Because when God’s kingdom releases the bill of rightousness and we are not in the place where he has us, there can be a backlash. We are not to mess with things that are not of God, because we have the word of God and that is all that we’ll ever need.
