Have Peace: Comfort

“’Because they lead my people astray, saying, “Peace,” when there is no peace, and because, when a flimsy wall is built, they cover it with whitewash, – Ezekiel 13:10

There is a fake form of peace, that covers and nurtures divination. When there is a rise of sorcery, divination, and all kinds of witchcraft activities, these are the signs of false peace and idolatry.

Peace is spiritual reality, and the peace that comes from God is comforting. It does not cover a hidden agenda, it does not mislead, it does not cause one to stumble. It heals and strengthens. It binds up the brokenhearted. It’s the peace that comes from God and it surpasses all understanding.

But there is a different type of peace, as described in Ezekiel 13:10. It covers and brews the seeds of divination, and is designed to lead people astray. It is a demonic strategy and some might consider it a form of technology. Satan, Leviathan, and all other principalities are behind it. There is a time for war and the time must be used according to the will of God. But false peace could be used to divert the war and use all kinds of divination in order to achieve the same result without the openness of war.

There is honor in war. But there is none in divination and sorcery. Outside are the dogs, those who practice magic arts, the sexually immoral, the murderers, the idolaters and everyone who loves and practices falsehood. (Revelation 22:15) It is better to die on the battlefield in an unknown grave, than to be excluded from the Kingdom Of God for eternity.

Father, in the name of Jesus, let my death bring glory to you and your kingdom. Amen.
