The words of Jesus can not be overruled. “It is written” is how Jesus fought satan in the wilderness, and it is written that satan felt down from heaven. It is a past tense – it was done and it is established in the now. Every memory of his kingdom must be subdued by the reality of God’s word, where it is written “satan felt like lightning from heaven.” Everything from the past must be met with the now – satan felt down and his kingdom. No matter how much he tries to climb through our own imagination, he is thrown down and he will be down forever, along with all who follow and serve him.

Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, purge my imagination from the stain of the flesh and the works of satan. Let the blood of Jesus cleanse my mind and memories, so that no trace of satan can remain. Let his kingdom remain in the past, far behind and below, and let the lake of fire be established in my past, where satan dwells, and let the blood of Jesus purify my consciousness of his works. I shall boast in Christ! Amen.
