Christ’s Return: Proclaiming

In the twinkling of an eye – 1 Corinthians 15:52

Many are not happy with the idea of Christ’s return. It makes them uncomfortable as it serves as a reminder that they will be judged and that their second death is imminent. Their consciousness and evil deeds do not permit them to enter His kingdom. Thou they have ears, they don’t hear.

My spirit shall not always strive with man, for that he also is flesh: yet his days shall be an hundred and twenty years. (Genesis 6:3) God doesn’t need anyone. He only rescued one family before the flood. Noah’s sons and wives were sufficient for his new beginnings. He creates and when he does, He starts all over again. God is a constant change, and this includes His return. He comes back for what is his and it will happen in the twinkling of an aye.

When confronting men of power and authority, we must be ready to preach the word of God. The word of God speaks for itself. God can be a very unpopular subject because it convicts of sin. But it’s the truth and all who refuse to hear it will be left behind.

Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, give me the grace to continue after all who turn their backs to your warnings. Amen.
