Jesus Daily: Christ Proclaimed

Only that in every way, whether from false motives or true, Christ is proclaimed, and in this I rejoice. Yes, and I will continue to rejoice – Philippians 1:19

Jesus said unto him, It is written again, Thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God (Matthew 4:7). Satan was condemned long before his encounter with Jesus in the wilderness. One of satan’s weapons is to attack the word of God. He used it against Eve, and he uses it against the people of God.

Those who dishonor, disobey, or blaspheme the name of God and his word, as well as all who come in the name of Jesus, belong to satan’s kingdom. God sends his apostles, prophets, evangelicals, missionaries and all kinds of ministry workers to nonbelievers with the word of God. Satan will use any and every opportunity to attack them because his kingdom will be emptied out of power. God is perfectly aware of satan’s strategies but it is our job to warn men and women who oppose the people of God.

All believers hold the responsibility to support the plans and purposes of God. We are equally accountable to God to carry out his plan for salvation. If anyone chooses to remain silent, when called to speak, or turn away when asked to step forward, or overlook the signs from God, s/he is without excuse and will be turn to satan, according to 1 Timothy 1:20, as the Holy Spirit bears witness.
