Jesus Daily: Christ Proclaimed

What does it matter? Only that in every way, whether from false motives or true, Christ is proclaimed, and in this I rejoice. Yes, and I will continue to rejoice – Philippians 1:18

Jesus is the Son of God. He is the true God and eternal life. God is love and as he is so also are we in this world. And this is love, that we walk according to his commandments. (2 John 1:6) He committed no sin, and no deceit was found in his mouth.” When they hurled their insults at him, he did not retaliate; when he suffered, he made no threats. Instead, he entrusted himself to him who judges justly. (1 Peter 2:21-23)

Let God arise and his enemies be scattered!

The blood of Jesus is the voice that speaks better things than the blood of Abel. When the blood speaks, no voice can silence it. It is the voice of the son to the father. What father will give a serpent to a son who asks for bread? Or stone for a fish? If you who are evil know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more your heavenly father?

If anyone be in Christ, he is a new creature. But those who reject Christ reject the Father also. Christ will never again be crucified. His enemies want to kill him again and again but it is not possible. Jesus is seated next to the Father and so are all who belong to him. When the day of judgment comes, Jesus will be the perfect judge. It won’t be satan judging; it is the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. Those who rush in judgment will be judged according to their deeds. Their sins will be remembered and their names won’t be found in the book of the Lamb.
