Because of the greatness of your power your enemies will pretend to be obedient to you, but you, O God, know their hearts. They band themselves together against the life of the righteous And condemn the innocent to death. But You hate the double-minded and every false way and turn their wickedness on their heads.

You see them for who they are and you shall expose them, for their deeds speak against them. The men of war shall enter the wilderness, and those who sit on thrones will be as chaff tossed in the wind. There is no substance in them. They have become callous, dull and senseless. They have withered from the root.
