Acts Of Kindness: Day 13

No evil shall come upon you. – Jeremiah 23:17

One of the Greatest things that happens after we get saved is our new nature. We are made new. Something that has never existed before. Every evil seed in our nature is destroyed. Nothing to worry about. Our future is in Christ, and although this world is not heaven, we walk in it knowing that we are passing to another place where evil no longer exists.

Let’s learn to celebrate this newness of life every day! We have the freedom to choose how as long as we remember to do it. If we learn to celebrate what is already in our lives, it becomes easier to invite others to our little triumph parties. The more the better!

This is what kindness looks like – when we are kind to others, we share what is accomplished in our lives. A small act of kindness is a celebration of who we are in Christ – an image of the Almighty God! We can do it in the spirit of joy – a daily celebration! It’s not about being loud and colorful. Sometimes it might be just a whisper, a simple “thank you” or “how are you today“. Remember Joseph’s brief interaction with Pharaoh’s officials in prison led to his freedom and triumph over the past.
